Since 2004 |
|
Executive Director Michelle Gibson joined Crème de la Crème in 2004 as our Allen, Texas school's first director of curriculum. Recognized for her ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while keeping the development of students her top priority, she was promoted to the position of executive director in 2007.
Michelle earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia and was a teacher for six years before bringing her passion for early childhood education to Crème de la Crème.
A mom as well as an educator, Michelle learned about Crème through her desire to be an exceptional parent. "I wanted the best for my children at an early age," she says. "I considered Crème's method to develop the 'total child' and make the most of the early years to be the perfect approach." |
|
From Michelle's standpoint, her school's success is attributable to the skill and uncompromising standards of her staff. Crème's unique rotation-based curriculum complements her team's dedication by effectively engaging children across intellectual, emotional, physical and social levels of learning and development.
Highlights of the Allen school program include: Open Court Reading, a kindergarten-level curriculum designed to develop fluent reading and problem-solving skills. DLM Express, a multi-sensory curriculum for two-, three- and four-year-olds that helps children absorb and learn from experiences as they rotate through Crème's unique enrichment rooms. And the Innovations program for infants and toddlers--a comprehensive approach to early childhood development focusing on child-environment interaction and repetitive themes.
As you search for the best for your child, we know you will be thrilled with the expertise that Michelle Gibson and her team bring to Crème de la Crème - Allen. |
