The focus of the lessons for infants and toddlers this fall will be
on getting to know the children and their unique qualities,
separating from parents, learning about themselves, their families
and their neighborhood, making friends, and other topics like
animals, cars, trucks and trains, fruits and vegetables, and
storybook classics, to name a few.
The themes will provide opportunities to learn about their senses
and cause and effect, practice self-help skills, and to understand
how to make things happen. The older children will learn about
colors, shapes and familiar items in their environment.
Plenty of activities and experiences will be available for children
to participate in. The possibilities center on dramatic play,
literacy, sensory/art, curiosity and construction, as well as music
and movement.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The educational themes this fall will address your child’s school

expression, letter knowledge and early word recognition, listening
comprehension and print and book awareness. Children will also learn
to control their behaviors, build interpersonal relationships,
self-esteem and self-help skills, as well as enjoy the creative
arts.
