Once the school year ends, kids often miss playing with their friends, having structured time, and engaging their bodies and brains. Sending your child to summer camp is a wonderful way for them to further enhance their social skills, become more independent, and learn team-building with their peers. Working parents also benefit from having their children in a summer camp program during the day, knowing that teachers are supervising them in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our director of curriculum has designed Crème de la Crème’s summer camp program for kids 5 to 12 years old to include activities, learning opportunities, and field trips to keep kids healthy and engaged. When your child attends summer camp at Crème de la Crème of East Cobb in Marietta, they get the following benefits:
We encourage kids to explore the world around them. Part of our summer camp program includes taking kids on exciting field trips. Our team members go with the children in a Crème de la Crème bus to age-appropriate locations, including the zoo, local parks, family-fun centers, museums, and science centers.
Our team at Crème de la Crème of East Cobb in Marietta brings in occasional guest speakers and presenters to show kids how fun learning can be. Our speakers do magical science projects, demonstrate fascinating math theories, and give kids artistic opportunities.
Physical activity is a huge part of our summer camp program. We want kids to get exercise while learning how to interact with their friends and peers through team sports. At Crème de la Crème, your child can take advantage of our:
Summer break is a time when kids can enjoy their days outside of the classroom. However, at Crème de la Crème, we understand the importance of keeping kids’ brains engaged academically so that they’re ready to go back to school with sharp minds. Children enrolled in our summer camp have educational opportunities, including access to the following:
Parents and caregivers will appreciate our convenient location and how easy it is to drop their kids off for summer camp. You’ll find us at 726 Woodlawn Drive in Northeast Marietta next door to Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and just across the street from Dickerson Middle School. Parents bring their children to our summer camp from the nearby neighborhoods and communities, including East Cobb, Smyrna, Roswell, Alpharetta, and Atlanta.
Because we minimize the number of kids who attend our state-of-the-art summer camp facility, your child will have plenty of room to play, study, and rest without overcrowded conditions. We have plenty of teachers and team members available to give your child the attention they need.
Kids in our summer camp program get lots of exercise while playing and work up an appetite. Part of your tuition in our summer camp includes healthy meals and snacks, which we give to our campers throughout the day. We take allergies seriously at Crème de la Crème of East Cobb in Marietta, and our facility is nut free.
As we take allergies seriously, we also take safety for your child seriously. People entering our facility must use our unique biometric fingerprint and code access process. We also have eagle-eye cameras in all areas of our facility that we closely monitor. At the end of the day, one of our staff members will verify the identity of the person picking up your child.
We encourage kids to bring out their inner artists and get creative by participating in our art, music, dance, and theater classes. Children can explore their creative boundaries and use their imagination to create the type of art that resonates with them.
We have a variety of board games the kids can play that help them develop problem-solving skills. Children who play video and computer games develop hand-eye coordination and critical thinking skills engagingly.
We also offer young kids additional age-appropriate programs to get them moving, including:
