Toddler Care Helps Young Children Develop Essential Skills

Young children who attend toddler day care can develop essential social skills. Toddlers often learn how to share with other children, learn conflict resolution, and have emotional control when they attend a high-quality toddler care program. When choosing a day care center for your toddler, look for one that has programs with varied activities and learning experiences to help keep your child engaged. The right toddler care facility will help your youngster develop essential cognitive, emotional, social, and communication skills.

Having Your Child Attend Crème de la Crème's Toddler Care Program Prepares Them for Future Independence

When young children spend time at a day care and early learning center, not only do they begin their educational journey, but they also learn to become independent. Our toddler care program helps children become self-confident and builds on their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Key benefits of having your child attend Crème de la Crème of South Barrington’s toddler care program include:

Learning Experiences in a Fun Environment

Children enjoy learning in a playful manner and fun environment. Adding joy to the learning experience helps children process and retain information more deeply than in a rigid academic setting. Our teachers make the educational experience pleasurable for your toddler, so they’ll look forward to continuing their academic journey.

Age-Appropriate Play Structures

Busy toddlers enjoy spending their day playing with each other in a team environment and by themselves. We’ve designed our indoor play structures and outdoor playgrounds perfectly for young children ages 15 to 24 months to play on safely while encouraging them to engage in physical activity.

Low Teacher-to-Student Ratio

Toddlers need a lot of attention when learning and communicating. If the classroom has too many students for the teacher, the toddler may not get the attention they need. At Crème de la Crème of South Barrington, our toddler care program has a teacher-to-student ratio of 1-to-5. With this low ratio, our teachers can play and interact with each individual child and teach them at their own learning pace.

Communication Advancement

As infants grow into toddlers, their communication skills expand. However, they may not fully grasp language yet but still want to express their needs and desires. We teach infants as well as toddlers baby sign language so they can effectively communicate with adults and their peers with words such as eat, drink, rest, want more, and enough.

Our team at Crème de la Crème of South Barrington understands that parents want a safe and secure place to send their toddlers to, and we take safety seriously. Our property and classrooms have eagle-eye cameras that we closely monitor. In order for a person to access our center, they must use our biometric fingerprint and access code process.

Meals and Diapers

Your tuition costs cover everything your child will need for the day. We provide the following:

  • Diapers, diaper creams, wipes, and pull-ups
  • Washcloths and bibs
  • Crib sheets and sleep sacks
  • Nutritious meals and snacks for those on table food
  • Milk for children over the age of 1

A Peanut- and Tree Nut-Free Facility

Often, children have allergies to tree nuts and peanuts, and we’re proud that our facility is free from these potential allergens, including almond milk.

Ongoing Training for Teachers

All of our teachers have CPR and first aid certifications for young children, and we monitor the children throughout the day. We also provide an online subscription to the ChildCare Education Institute, where the teachers have access to resources to help them with their early childhood learning development.

A Clean and Sanitized Facility

We want you to have peace of mind that your toddlers are playing and learning in a clean facility. Our dedicated cleaning crew wipes, sweeps, and cleans throughout the day. After school is over, the crew completes a three-step sanitizing process on the facility, sanitizes the toys, and washes all the bedding and linens.
