Once the traditional school year ends, some kids may become bored staying at home instead of having interaction with their peers and stimulating educational opportunities. Summer camp is the perfect solution to helping your child overcome summer brain drain, boredom, and inactivity.
Kids in summer camp can learn new skills like how to play soccer, use their creativity in art classes, or expand on their education through science projects. Summer camp is also the perfect opportunity for children to meet kids outside their normal classroom. Connecting with a diverse range of peers helps develop their social and communication skills while giving them a chance to learn about other cultures and lifestyles.
Our professionally trained teachers in our summer camp program at Crème de la Crème of Port Potomac (Woodbridge) have certificates in early childhood education. They understand the importance of letting children learn through structured play and activities, as well as allowing kids time for free play. Your child attending our summer camp will enjoy their days at Crème de la Crème of Port Potomac (Woodbridge) and you can spend your day knowing that your tuition to our summer camp comes with many benefits, including:

In addition, we always have someone at the front desk to warmly greet you and verify the identities of those who enter.
One thing that kids love about our summer camp is the field trips. Our teachers accompany the kids on our own Crème de la Crème bus to local parks, museums, the zoo, planetarium, and family-entertainment centers for a fun outing they will enjoy.
On select days, we bring in guest speakers and teachers to show kids how magical science, math, and technology are. Your child can take part in live and interactive demonstrations that will give them a thrill while learning about the mechanics of science and math.

Busy summer campers can work up an appetite. At Crème de la Crème of Port Potomac (Woodbridge), we offer kids in our program wholesome snacks and lunch, including whole milk, 2% milk, or soy milk. We understand that some kids may have allergies to peanuts and tree nuts, and we’re proud that our facility is free from all nuts.
Our summer camp program at Crème de la Crème of Port Potomac (Woodbridge) only has 26 students at a time with a teacher-to-summer camper ratio of 1-to-18. Your child will get lots of focused attention from our teachers helping them with their sports, arts, or reading.
Kids enjoy playing with others in their age group. Playing sports, going on field trips, and chatting with their peers helps further develop their social and communication skills. In many cases, kids that go to summer camp often make friends that can last a lifetime.
It’s easy to bring your child to our summer camp. You’ll find us at 16351 Navigation Drive off Route 1 and right behind the Wells Fargo Bank in the Port Potomac Community across from Eagles Landing. We’re open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
While kids in summer camp get to play, our teachers also review some of the academic material they learned in the previous school year. We also give parents a companion workbook to go over educational elements at home to help prevent summer brain drain. This program helps kids transition back into school when the time comes.
