Physical Development
Providing our children with a safe and secure place is vital to promoting their physical development. Each of our Crème de la Crème facilities offers a variety of ways for children to move around and have fun through different programs that focus on developing their fine and gross motor skills.
Fine Motor Skills
Any type of movement is vital to our youngster’s development, no matter how small. Fine motor skills involve the small muscles in our hands and fingers that help us complete simple tasks such as eating and tying shoelaces. But, when combined with creativity, fine motor skills can be more complex.
Our art studio is a fantastic way for our children to practice these skills when holding a pencil to draw or using safety scissors to cut paper. We let our kids’ inner Picasso come to life as they create something new. Our music studio also strengthens fine motor skills as they play with instruments while singing.
Gross Motor Skills
Gross motor skills are essential to a child’s physical development as they involve the large muscles in the body, mainly found in the head, neck, arms, and legs. From our infants and toddlers learning how to crawl and walk to our preschoolers and kindergartners mastering running and jumping, we provide numerous opportunities for them to develop their gross motor skills.
Depending on the Crème de la Crème school near you, you may find soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and tennis and basketball courts, each a perfect setting for outdoor play. Because we know the importance of physical development, we aim to let our kids actively play for two hours daily.
