3/17/2020-All schools will be implementing temperature checks of all Team Members, children and adults entering the building.

Exposure
If your child, a family member or you have been diagnosed with or exposed to the Coronavirus, please notify the school’s Executive Director immediately. This includes if your place of employment is closed due to a positive or presumptive positive case.

Travel
If you are planning or returning from travel abroad, please contact your Executive Director to identify where you are going or have gone and to verify that the area you are planning to travel to or have traveled to or through has not been upgraded to a Level 2 or level 3 Travel Health Notice area. Please log onto our website at www.cremedelacreme.com/travel-form and complete the Voluntary Travel Form to notify Crème as to your future or past travel plans. We are monitoring the CDC and WHO websites and will provide travel updates as necessary. If you, or anyone in your household, have traveled to a CDC level 3 area, your child must remain out of our center for 14 days after coming back to the United States. This self-quarantine will also be required if you, or anyone in your household, has had contact with anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus.

Drop off and Pick-Up
In an effort to reduce the spread of germs, we are asking that parents or persons authorized to pick up children use a door tissue to open classroom doors when coming in and out.
Because your child’s health is paramount to Crème, we are asking that parents and other guests limit the amount of time spent in the classrooms and to limit the number of surfaces that parents touch in an effort to minimize the risk of cross-contamination for you, your child and the other children entrusted to Crème. We respectfully request that siblings wait outside the Infant and Toddler doors.

Additionally, the kiosk with the biometrics to sign into ProCare will not be used as Crème is striving to reduce the number of hard surfaces parents need to touch. A Crème Team Member will sign your child in and out each day.

Health and Safety
Crème will follow the CDC and local health agency recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting the building. We have re-enforced our cleanliness guidelines with our Team Members which include additional handwashing, disinfecting/sanitizing toys and equipment and proper use of gloves.

The CDC continues to emphasize that the risk of any illness is reduced with proper handwashing, staying away from those who are ill and if you are ill, staying home until you are symptom free for 24 hours.
• Follow these best practices:
• Stay home when you are sick/keep your child home when he/she is ill.
• Wash your hands and your child’s hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds.
• Cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard.
• If no tissue is available, cough or sneeze into your shoulder by lifting the collar of your
shirt covering your nose and mouth. Wash hands immediately after.
• Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.
• Clean frequently touched surfaces.

Curriculum
We have created a “Healthy Me” daily lesson plan for children 2 – 5 years to remind them of proper handwashing, coughing and sneezing techniques.

Crème is working with other child care companies to share best practices so that we are providing the best for our children, families and Team Members.

As always, your patience and support are greatly appreciated!
