Babies grow and transform quickly from the time they’re newborns until they become toddlers. Infants begin to comprehend speech, recognize faces and voices, and often start crawling and then walking. As they continue to grow, they learn to grasp items, bring objects to their mouths, and roll from front to back. By the time your baby reaches 12 to 15 months, they can feed themselves and verbalize simple words.
When a baby goes to an infant care program, they develop skills essential for their growth in a supervised and nurturing environment. While you have several choices of where to send your baby for infant care in the Frisco area, they’ll excel in a healthy and positive way when they attend Crème de la Crème of Frisco’s infant care program.
Your infant will gain valuable skills for their growth when they attend our infant care program. They’ll develop socially and cognitively while setting the foundation for attending our toddler care and preschool programs. Key reasons why Crème de la Crème of Frisco’s infant care program shines over other day care centers include:
Our goal at Crème de la Crème is to make the most of your child’s early learning years. As infants’ brains begin to develop, they start to recognize patterns, movement, and speech. Before infants can verbalize, they need to express their needs and often resort to tears if they aren’t able to communicate with adults. Part of our award-winning curriculum includes baby sign language so your baby can communicate basic needs like “eat”, “drink”, “want more”, and “all done”.
Our director of curriculum designed our infant care program for young children ages 6 weeks to 12 months. Elements of our day care for infants curriculum include:
Our teachers hold, cuddle, sing, and talk to your infant throughout the day so your baby feels safe and connected.
Babies need soft toys and items around them. Our day care center has age-appropriate play structures and toys perfect for babies. We have a dedicated cleaning crew who keep our infant day care area hygienic throughout the day. At the end of the day, we use a three-step sanitizing process for deep-cleaning. We sanitize all sleep sacks, linens, and toys daily to reduce germs. We also have a shoeless policy in the infant area.
We let the babies explore in a safe manner. If they’re not eating or sleeping, we let them explore the room, and when the weather permits, we take them outside to a designated area exclusively for infants. Our teachers put young babies on soft pillows lying on their tummies so they can develop neck and upper body strength.
We understand that parents have busy days, so we make it easy to bring your baby to our infant day care facility. You can find us at 9375 Legacy Drive next to Carroll Elementary School and close to Frisco Running Company.
You can rest easy knowing your infant is in a safe facility with advanced safety features. We have eagle-eye cameras in all classrooms and play areas as well as throughout the property. Anyone entering our property must go through our biometric fingerprint and code access process. In addition, one of our staff members check the identities of the person picking up your infant at the end of the day.
There’s no need to pack diapers when bringing your baby to Crème de la Crème of Frisco. We provide all diapers, diaper creams, and wipes. We also have sanitized linens, crib sheets, and sleep sacks for your baby’s use.
For children on table food, we give them healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Children over age 1 get milk. If your infant is on formula, please send it with them when they come to our day care.
You’ll want to see the milestones of your infant, and you can through our parent connectivity app. We send updates and notices to your smartphone including:
We support our teachers’ professional growth with a subscription to the ChildCare Education Institute where they receive a Child Development Associate certification. Our teachers take online and virtual training in early childhood education throughout the year.
Crème de la Crème’s core values include honesty, integrity, transparency, and respect for everyone. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment with an approach to whole-child education and development.
