Our programs for babies to kindergartners offer your child a wow-worthy experience. Here’s how our classrooms are broken down by age (including our teacher to child ratios):
- 4 Infant classrooms (6 weeks to 18 months), 1:4 ratio
- 2 Toddler classrooms (1–2 years), 1:6 ratio
- 1 Early Preschool classroom (2–3 years), 1:8 ratio
- 1 Preschool classroom (3-4 years), 1:12 ratio
- 1 Private Pre-K classroom (4–5 years), 1:17 ratio

Meet An Jeanette Paredes, Our Executive Director
Meet An Jeanette Paredes! She has over 25 years of experience working with children. In college, she was a teacher and after graduating from Delaware State University, she moved to Early Childhood Administration and received a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from UNC Charlotte. She has taught all over the world, learning about different teaching methodologies from other countries, including Okinawa, Japan! Her favorite quote is from Maya Angelou: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” Outside of work, she loves football, basketball, and spending time with her family—her husband of 24 years, her daughters, (Toni, 34, and Tare, 30), and her dog, Bach.

Meet Amanda Barnes! She’s the Director of Quality and Education at Cary. She has been working in early childhood for 18 years—she started as a teacher and worked her way up to her current role as the Director of Quality and Education. She has an associate degree in early childhood education and holds a level 2 admin certification. She’s also CPR and First Aid Certified. Plus, she is a certified yoga teacher with experience teaching adults, parent and me classes, an d children’s yoga. This Maya Angelou quote resonates with her because she is a big believer in lifting people up: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Outside of work, she enjoys teaching yoga, fostering/rescuing animals, snowboarding, visiting the mountains, a nd reading an occasional good book.
