We offer organic milk for those who take it. If your baby drinks alternative milk, please supply that as well as any formula they are on. Please note that our facility is free from tree nuts and peanuts, so we don’t allow almond milk.
We pride ourselves on having a clean facility, and our infant care area is a no-shoe zone. In addition, we sanitize shared toys and wash all bedding and linens daily. Our dedicated cleaning crew tidies up throughout the day, and in the evening, they use a three-step sanitizing process for extra cleanliness.

As babies grow and become more aware of the world around them, they want to express themselves to adults and their peers. Before they develop verbalization skills, they may become frustrated trying to convey their wants and needs. At Crème de la Crème of South Barrington, we teach them baby sign language so they can communicate their desire to eat, drink, rest, or need more.
Often, daycare centers are overcrowded and babies can’t get the attention they deserve. With our infant care program, we have a 1-to-4 teacher-to-infant ratio. This allows our teachers to spend plenty of focused time with your infant. Throughout the day, our teachers place the infants on their tummies on a pillow. This encourages the baby to lift its head and shoulders, helping develop strength in the neck and upper body area.

Each teacher has an online subscription to the ChildCare Education Institute where they receive a certification as a Child Care Development Associate, which is considered the Gold Standard for early childhood education. In addition, we have frequent in-person training sessions with curriculum updates.
Safety is one of Crème de la Crème of South Barrington’s top priorities, and we have an advanced safety system. Our classrooms and outside areas have eagle-eye cameras that our team members monitor closely. Anyone entering our daycare center must go through our signature biometric fingerprint and access code process. We also have someone at the front desk at all times.
Our teachers have certifications for infant CPR and first aid. They monitor infants constantly throughout the time they spend with us and the teachers have the knowledge and training to assist the babies if they’re in need.
