This visual delight is a perfect way to end your day with your family and is worth returning to again and again. Each performance is unique and combines physics with expression to create a show that’s sure to leave you with a sense of amazement. The performance times change daily, so it’s a good idea to research the fountain’s display times to ensure you catch the show.

Flamingo Wildlife Habitat in Caesars

Do you and your family want to escape the buzz of Las Vegas for a minute? Then come to Caesars and check out The Flamingo Wildlife habitat that spans 4 acres. This completely free experience includes bubbling streams, crashing waterfalls, exotic birds, turtles, and fish. If you want to learn more about the habitat, then consider stopping by between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to enjoy one of the hotel’s Keeper Talks. Some exotic creatures you and your family can enjoy watching include Chilean flamingos, sturgeon, koi, albino catfish, and brown pelicans.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour

Want to indulge in sweet treats instead? Then visit Ethel M Chocolate Factory for a fun self-guided tour and gift shop experience. Their tours are free and open to the public and take you along the factory’s production line, where you can watch an assortment of chocolatiers and machines making the chocolate you know and love. The viewing aisle also lets you peek into Ethel’s kitchen where you can watch expert crafters make pecan brittle, satin cremes, caramels, and peanut butter. Be sure to call or search the factory’s website for opening times, as schedules can vary.

Botanical Cactus Garden

Not ready to leave Ethel M Chocolates? Then step over to the breathtaking Botanical Cactus Garden where you can stroll along the garden’s 3-acre grounds. Inspired by the local landscape, you and your family can enjoy viewing over 300 plant species that are native to the American Southwest, South America, and Australia. Enjoy this garden year-round, as most plants and displays were chosen for their ability to withstand Southern Nevada’s climate, meaning you can view these beautiful displays whenever you want.

Mermaid Show at Silverton Hotel

Do you or your kids love mermaids? The Silverton Hotel has a free mermaid show where you and your little ones can watch and interact with one or two mermaids. The hotel’s 117,000-gallon water tank hosts a variety of tropical fish along with their mermaids, so you can also admire the tropical oasis the hotel has created with this display. Downtown Container Park

Are your little ones buzzing with energy? Then bring them to the Downtown Container Park, where they can run around and burn off their extra energy. The fun Treehouse Playground at the center of the park is host to a 33-foot slide, bridges, and more where your little one can safely explore, learn, and have fun. If you want to experience more here, there are also many free live concerts, events, movie nights, and celebrations where you and your family can make memories for a lifetime.

Express Tram Ride

Does your family love trains or trams? Taking one of the three free tram rides in Las Vegas can help you get the tram experience without shelling out extra money for the ride. These trams are situated in or near several attractions, which can help you get to another free attraction with ease. The tram rides include an ARIA Express route that takes you to the MGM Park, Crystals, or the Bellagio. You can also just go along for the ride nonstop and enjoy the tram’s six-minute round-trip experience.

Other tram routes include the Mandalay Bay Tram station, Excalibur Tram station, and the Luxor Tram station. To further your adventure, you can also take the Mirage to the Treasure Island Tram. No matter where you want to go on the strip, these free tram stations are sure to get you there fast.

Seven Magic Mountains

If you want to escape the bustle of the city and enjoy creative expression, then visit the Seven Magic Mountains located just south of the city.
