Malibu Norcross

Malibu Norcross is an indoor water park that offers a thrilling aquatic journey where summer pleasure is available to everyone. Their large arena includes a Go Kart track, multiple water slides, a mini golf course, batting cages, a lazy river, a wave pool, play areas, and more family-friendly activities. Additionally, check out its special offers and discounts to learn how much money you may save while still having a good time. The park is located at 5400 Brook Hollow Parkway in Norcross, and its hours are noon to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday and noon to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Peachtree Corners Town Center

If you or someone in your family would love to go shopping at any opportunity, consider passing the time on a rainy day at the over-two-dozen shops in Peachtree Corners Town Center. Check out the CMX ConeBistro for a luxurious take on movie night, or pamper yourself at My Salon Suite and European Wax. Break up the trip with a visit to Knuckies Hoagies or Fire & Stone Italian Pizza Kitchen.

Of course, when the weather clears up, Peachtree Corners is just as popular for its children’s play areas and for the Town Green, over two acres of comfortable, green lawn space for concerts, movie presentations, and all other sorts of community events. It even holds the Peachtree Corners Farmer’s Market. When the rain is falling, though, you’ll find just as much to do at this town center’s shops and boutiques.

Southeastern Railway Museum

A fascinating tourist destination near Duluth, the Southeastern Railway Museum shows the value of railways to the development and history of the Southeastern United States. Visitors can explore a substantial collection of old locomotives, railcars, and displays at the museum. They feature a vast collection of railroad artifacts and life-size replicas of historical trains, automobiles, and buses. Over the year, the Southeastern Railway Museum provides a variety of unique events and activities, from themed gatherings to educational classes perfect for kids. The Southeastern Railway Museum is at 3595 Buford Highway in Duluth, not far from Peachtree Corners. Operating hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The gift shop is available on each of these working days, excluding Thursdays.

Robert D. Fowler Family YMCA

The YMCA of Peachtree Corners and Norcross is one of the best in the state, offering everything from a gym and wellness center to libraries and a kids’ play center. The center also offers bookable childcare appointments and family locker rooms. Join in group exercise or go it your way on the indoor track or pool, relaxing afterward in the sauna or steam room. Like any YMCA, this is also a frequent spot to catch volunteer work and networking opportunities to get a sprouting career off the ground.

You’ll find the Robert D. Fowler Family YMCA on 5600 W. Jones Bridge Road, right here in Peachtree Corners. The facility is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

NCG Cinema

When the rain just won’t quit, you can always enjoy a trip to the movies with a soda and extra-comfy, adjustable seats. Many call this the best movie theater in Peachtree Corners.
