The First Teacher

While the teachers at Crème de la Crème get the honor of being your child’s teacher and helping educate them, YOU are their first teacher. Learning happens in the everyday moments you share with your little one. Everything you do together will help your child grow and learn about their world!

Ways to encourage learning outside the classroom:

  • Talk, talk, talk
  • Look around and explore!
  • Read to your little one

Teacher Showcase

Crème de la Crème is thankful to our wonderful teachers for all that they do. Their commitment to teaching is second to none.

We have had the honor of working with Mrs. Amatulli for over 33 years! She is currently our Kindergarten teacher at the Crème de la Crème of Buckhead (Atlanta), GA location.

Mrs. Amatulli has shared a bit about her experience as a teacher and what she loves so much about it:

When the children come into the class and say “Mrs. Amatulli, can I tell you something?” I use that as my opportunity to not only learn about them, but to use those personal traits as a teaching lesson now or later on. It helps to relate their personal experiences to their reading, writing and math skills. I get to witness a lot of firsts: when a teacher holds the hand of a first time walker down the hallway and my class cheers them on… learning to tie their shoes, losing a tooth, [and] riding a two wheeler.

I am very lucky to work with a group of seasoned teachers who work closely with me in supporting a well-rounded curriculum for our children.

For my family, one of the most important things I did was to take my girls to school with me. I attribute their success with their schooling, higher education, careers and strong family values to the foundations they acquired at Crème. Carrying on with the legacy, my young grandchildren have become “Crème-ites” at the Crème de la Crème of Alpharetta (Haynes Bridge Road), GA!
