Mealtime offers an opportunity for family bonding, so you want to make sure you choose the right spot to keep your whole family happy when you’re going out for a meal. That’s where Crème de la Crème of Las Vegas comes in.

We know it can be tough to search for a restaurant that’s not only super tasty but also kid-friendly. We’ve put together this list of go-to spots around our city to take the guesswork out of planning your next family outing. Whether you’re searching for vegan treats or classic barbecue, you’ll find all that and more in the Las Vegas area. Here are seven spots you have to try.

Garden Grill

Garden Grill got its start as a mobile vendor on the First Friday circuit. Now, this neighborhood favorite offers a brick-and-mortar location at the Summerlin Gateway Plaza. Look forward to tasty options such as beer-battered avocado tacos, carne asada fries with plant-based steak, and a California burrito, to name only a few popular choices from this menu.

You can’t go wrong with kiddos here, either. This vegan spot offers a kids menu with favorites such as chicken strips and cheese quesadillas with chips, fries, or apple slices on the side.

Honey Salt

Honey Salt takes its inspiration from creating family memories around the dinner table. With a focus on local, seasonal ingredients, this spot melds farm-to-table wholesomeness with a comfortable, welcoming setting. Honey Salt also boasts a kids’ menu inspired by the creators’ son, so you can rest assured you’re heading out for a meal the kids will love, too.

Kid-friendly eats include chicken tenders, pasta and meatballs, and the “pizza pizza margherita” favorite. Complete the picture with delicious juice or a dessert of cookies and milk for a meal that’s sure to please the whole family.

Krayvings

Whether you’re looking to refuel after a day at Red Rock Canyon or just searching for a quick and tasty bite to eat, Krayvings has you covered. The restaurant advertises as healthy fast food and certainly checks all the boxes for a meal that satisfies kids and adults alike. Protein-powered food and drinks keep the whole brood ready to take on the day, without sacrificing taste.

Krayvings doesn’t use freezers, fryers, or microwaves but does offer an abundance of kid-friendly menu items. Kids will love the turkey (or bison!) burger options, as well as pizza, grilled cheese, and more. Add a healthy side of sliced apples or house-made lemonade for a tasty and healthy fast food alternative.

China Poblano

We know the feeling. One family member is set on one type of cuisine, while another only wants their favorite. What’s a parent to do? Fortunately, Las Vegas’s very own China Poblano not only offers both traditional Mexican and Chinese cuisine but it’s also known for being family-friendly. The festive, stylish setting captures the vibrancy of street markets in Mexico and China while serving authentic flavors with roots in both countries.

From dim sum to tacos to noodles and everything in between, this unique menu has a flavor for anyone. Start off with chips and salsa, guacamole, or wonton soup, then dig into main dishes including classics from both Mexican and Chinese kitchens as well as fusion items. Finish off the experience with a sweet treat like churros for a meal the whole family is sure to talk about.

Pancho’s Vegan Tacos

With two Las Vegas locations plus one location in nearby Henderson, Pancho’s Vegan Tacos is a great spot to check out when you’re craving tasty Mexican food but with a healthier twist. You can choose from various vegan proteins, including vegan al pastor, asada, chicken, and even nopales, which is cactus.

The menu serves a variety of favorites, all made from vegan ingredients. Beyond the huge selection of tacos, you’ll find treats such as tamales and nachos to keep the whole family happy. You’ll also find burgers and hot dogs (again, all vegan), making this a great restaurant to visit with kids, no matter their tastes.

Rollin Smoke Barbeque

In the mood for some classic, southern-style barbecue? You can’t go wrong at any of this restaurant’s three Las Vegas locations. Rollin Smoke Barbeque offers a family-friendly experience complete with delicious barbecue choices such as in-house barbecued meats, sandwiches, and seafood platters. Make sure you add sides such as corn nuggets or bacon potato salad and treat the family to a mouthwatering dessert such as banana pudding while you’re here.

Kids have plenty of foods to choose from, but a kids menu makes things even easier when you don’t know where to start. The kids menu offers barbecue wings, sliders, hot dogs, and more. If you’re craving tasty comfort food, head over to one of Rollin Smoke Barbecue’s locations.

VegeNation

Vegan chef Donald Lemperle created this restaurant in 2014, and it’s been serving the Las Vegas area plant-based treats ever since. The eco-friendly spot features two locations dedicated to serving totally plant-based global cuisine. That makes VegeNation a great place to visit when you want to introduce the kids to new flavors while staying healthy.

Menu favorites include chicken pot pie gnocchi and vegan sushi with forbidden rice, not to mention chicken and waffles and beyond. With meats, cheese, and even ice cream made from plants, kids are sure to love all the delicious items they’ll find here. You can even treat the kids to pizza, including a classic Margherita pizza as well as a mac-n-cheese-topped version.

Our area offers a wide range of options, but it can be tough to figure out which restaurant to visit when you don’t know where to look. We hope this list inspires you to try a new place the next time you’re searching for a fun restaurant as a family. Do you have a spot you love to take the kids that we missed with this list?
