Sur la Table offers a wide range of themed cooking classes for adults, teens, and kids, both in-person and online. Children ages 7 to 11 can take part in the five-part Kids Series, including Baking 101, Global Flavors, and Culinary Excursion. Kids aged 12 to 17 can enroll in the five-part Teen Series with classes such as Bakeshop, Better Than Takeout, and Culinary Excursion. The team at Sur la Table also offers Date Night cooking classes for adults that range from Italian to Asian cuisine.

Sur la Table charges a flat rate for the entire household to take online classes, making this option a fun way for everyone to learn how to cook together. People 16 years and older are welcome to learn hands-on tips for creating tasty baked goods from professional pastry chefs. The team at the Pastry Academy teaches this 10-week course with modules that include:

If you have kids 18 and older who dream of becoming a professional chefs or bakers, encourage them to enroll in the Culinary Academy Las Vegas. In the 475-hour Professional Cook course, students learn essential kitchen skills, hot and cold food preparation and presentation, and behind-the-scenes organization and production of commercial kitchens. Students of the Professional Cook program at the Culinary Academy Las Vegas will apply their culinary skills by supporting local restaurant chefs and staff.

Aspiring bakers can learn the art of making cakes, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods in the 182-hour Baker’s Helper course held at the academy. Note that all students need a valid and current food handler safety training card to enroll in the Culinary Academy Las Vegas.
