The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a must-visit for the nature-loving family. The serene landscape, secluded locale, and wonderful variety of vegetation and wildlife make this location a place you can go to again and again and always find something new. You can take a solitary walk, skip rocks, or go rafting. Anglers can spend some time fishing on the river, and those who enjoy birding can sit in silence and count how many varieties of feathered friends they can spot.

If you have some bike lovers in your clan, bring your bikes and go for a ride through the Cochran Shoals. You can even bring your four-legged friends with you — just be sure to clean up any messes and dispose of them properly to preserve the land. Before you head out, check the park’s website for current weather conditions to ensure you’re prepared for the elements so you can have the best time possible with your family.

Tiny Towne

For those who can’t wait to start driving, Tiny Towne is the best place to be. Even the smallest hands can feel accomplished and be safe in little cars made just for them. At Tiny Towne, little drivers begin their experience in driving school, where they learn the basics. Then, they can play, eat, drive, ride the train, and practice their driving skills.

Starting at age 3, children are considered beginner drivers, and they can move freely on the Tiny Track surrounded by a fence to make sure they’re safe. At age 6, kids get to drive slightly bigger Booster Cars on two-lane roads. Older children 9 years and up get real-world driving practice by driving smart cars on their own lined roads. Visitors can also play in the carcade, eat freshly made pizza, and party with friends. This is a great location to book your next birthday party or kid-friendly family event.
