Wilmington Thousand Trails RV Camping

Thousand Trails RV Campground is a place to camp among nature and the community on 170 acres of nature preserve. This RV campground offers gently rolling grounds and a large lake for fun on the water, plentiful fishing, canoeing, and available boats to rent. This park, with an abundance of RV camping sites, is eight miles from the Wilmington Thousand Trails. Caesar Creek and Cowan Lake are two nearby state parks. There you’ll find horseback riding, swimming, boating, and fishing. You can check out nearby attractions such as the Clinton County Historical Society’s Museum and Kings Island Amusement Park.

Kings Island Camp Cedar

Adjacent to the Kings Island amusement park entrance you’ll find Camp Cedar, a great spot for family camping, but with the added benefits of artful spacious cabins with thoughtful interior design to bring a touch of glamour. You also have the option of fully connected RV sites. Camp Cedar has generously sized pools, a fitness center, and dining facilities, among other amenities that make it an experience like no other in Warren County.

Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA

Lebanon/Cincinnati NE KOA Holiday has a wide variety of camping options including tent camping, RV sites, standard RV and tent combo sites, group tent sites, tent cabins, or cabins. This ADA-accessible site has many features — a market, picnic tables, phone service, Wi-Fi, showers, drinking water, electric hook-ups, toilets, and trash service. Fires are permitted with firewood available at the camp store. Pets are allowed to accompany you, and alcohol is also permitted on-site. Reservations are available for you to drive in and park right next to your campsite.

Cedarbrook Campground

Cedarbrook Campground has various camping types including tent sites, RV sites, standard RV and tent combo sites, and group camping grounds. There is Wi-Fi available, plus a market, phone service, showers, drinking water, electric hook-ups, toilets, and trash service. Fires are permitted at this ADA-accessible site, and firewood is available on-site. Cedarbrook has a sanitary dump, sewer hook-ups, water hook-ups, and pull-through sites for vehicles. There are three ways to access camping sites — drive in and park next to your tent site, park in a lot and walk to your campground, or reach your campsite by boat.

Jim Terrell Park

At Jim Terrell Park the amenities include canoe access, a small sleeping shelter, picnic tables, grills, and trash receptacles. There’s access to the Milford Urban Trail and a multi-use trail system. Camping sites are available with a $5 permit fee per night, with a maximum stay at three nights within 30 days.

Location: Longworth Street and Ferry Street, Milford.

Frontier Campground

Frontier Campground is located in a peaceful country setting so you can get away from it all and spend some time in nature. All the campground sites have a fire ring and a picnic table, with generously-sized RV sites that include full hook-ups and pull-throughs from 40 feet to 100 feet long. There’s a variety of camping available, from regular tent camping to rustic log cabins, with 102 electrical sites available. Frontier offers a wealth of amenities including planned activities, a pool, putt-putt golf, a playground, a general store, and an activities center with a kitchen. The campgrounds are close to Kings Island and the bike path.

Caesar Creek State Park Campgrounds

Caesar Creek State Park offers Class-A sites and tent and RV camping facilities with 287 spots, each featuring electricity. Each site has a paved pad for a tent, pop-up, 35-foot trailer, RV, or other camping units. The state park offers 20- and 30-amp electrical hook-ups, a fire ring, and picnic tables at the sites. Shower houses, bathhouses, waste drains, and water faucets are available throughout the campgrounds.

The check-in station has a convenience store with groceries and camping supplies for sale, and Caesar Creek also has a boat ramp. You also have free access to a dump station when staying at Caesar Creek State Park Campgrounds.

Lake View Acres Pavilion and Lodge 

At Lake View Acres, you’ll find a pavilion with various lodging options, from camping spaces to cabins and even a year-round lodge. Lake View Acres also has free Wi-Fi, BBQ grills, and fishing, with plenty of room for games, volleyball, and lake swimming. There’s also a bar to kick back in the evening and enjoy time with friends or family.

Little Miami Canoe and Campground

You can rent a kayak, canoe, raft, or tube for a two- to 18-mile river trip, which will take you through the woods and provide scenic countryside to enjoy at Little Miami Canoe and Campground. During your time at Little Miami, you can bask in the glory of nature and see deer, birds, and other wildlife. You’ll also have access to swimming, campfire zones, picnic areas, fishing, hiking trails, and paths. Little Miami offers safety equipment for you to use on the river.
