Celebrate Independence Day at the Goodyear Ballpark on South Ballpark Way. You’ll enjoy endless entertainment, like live music, kids’ activities, wet and dry bounce houses, and slides. Sail over the park on a zip line, and be sure to stay until 9 p.m. for the area’s tallest, biggest 20-minute firework spectacular.

If you prefer, you can also tailgate in the parking lot. Just remember to review the park’s authorized list of what’s allowed inside the park. Concessions and restrooms are also available. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the event ends at 10 p.m. Parking and admission are free.

The Roundup

Goodyear Ballpark hosts another outstanding annual event: The Roundup. If you love food trucks, this is the place for you. This foodie event of epic proportions happens each September. Some of the area’s best cooks take over the field to bring you the best eats in the West Valley. There’s live local music, a fireworks display, beer, wine, cocktails, and a kids zone play area for your preschoolers.

Bring your family and friends to this tasty, free festival and know that some of the money you spend goes to support local charities. Gates open around 4 p.m., and the party wraps at 10 p.m. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Every year it gets better and better with improvements like:

  • Better traffic control.
  • Upgraded beverage services.
  • Extra shade umbrellas.
  • More food trucks.

Do you want to get involved behind the scenes? Officials are always looking for sponsors to lend a hand.
