You can’t go wrong with Frisco’s own Frisco Commons Park if you’re looking for an easy-to-plan get-together outside. The sprawling 63-acre park has everything you need for a fun gathering. Host a family barbecue thanks to the grill facilities, or spend some time bonding while fishing in the stocked pond.

Time to get active? Head over to the walking and biking trails. Ready to relax? The picnic areas and tables make the laid-back part of your program a breeze. There are even some awesome playgrounds to keep the kiddos entertained. In fact, this park’s many awards include being named the Metroplex’s Best Family Park by Dallas Child Magazine.

Neither Picnic Alley, which you’ll find within the two playgrounds, nor the pavilions around the spray park are available to rent, so you can head out for an impromptu party whenever the mood strikes. If you’re planning ahead, you can reserve other pavilions. Make use of Hope Park or the Splash Pad, or bring some balls and sidewalk chalk for an organized event. With a large pond, plenty of space, and of course, those amazing playgrounds, Frisco Commons Park really is the place to go to celebrate with fun and games outdoors.

Frisco Athletic Center

Of course, Frisco Commons Park isn’t the only place in town that’s perfect for a party. The Frisco Athletic Center boasts plenty of opportunities for a great gathering. Pool party, anyone? The family-friendly (and award-winning!) fitness and aquatic facility typically has outdoor pavilions and indoor party rooms available to rent.

In the summer months, you won’t want to miss the outdoor Frisco Water Park, complete with water slides, interactive water playgrounds and structures, a lazy river, and so much more. In other words, there’s something for water lovers of every age here, making it another great spot for a celebration with family and friends.

The Cove at the Lakefront

You don’t have to travel far from Frisco for even more water-based fun. Just book a party at The Cove at the Lakefront, located close to home in Little Elm. Open all year long, The Cove promises fun for party-goers of all ages. From relaxing rides on a lazy river to waves in the FlowRider Double to a zero-depth splash ground and beyond, this water park translates to a whole lot of fun for everyone. The Cove is also an ideal spot for a birthday party, family gathering, or any other big event.

You can book a party package for a 90-minute party room reservation, including setup and takedown. The party room holds around 30 people, and the party package includes a dedicated host, 15 park admissions good for the whole day, and free admission for the party kid, guests under 2 years old, and active members of The Cove. You’ll also get pizza and drinks to take your party to the next level. The birthday child’s name will even appear on the digital signage and video wall, a touch that’s sure to delight your kid.

Parties are available Monday to Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays times are 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m., and 3 to 4:30 p.m., or you can part on Sundays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. or 3 to 4:30 p.m. You can also reserve the party room for 1 hour on weekdays (Monday through Thursday only). Admissions are not included with this type of room reservation.

Frisco Heritage Center

The Frisco Heritage Center is not just an amazing place to learn about local history. It’s also an amazing place to host a party! The historical park makes exploring our area’s rich history fun, and a visit to the center lets you check out the Frisco Heritage Museum, various historic buildings, and even trains like a steam locomotive and wooden caboose. Exhibits here chronicle the development of Frisco, from its status as a stop on the Shawnee Trail through its transformation to one of the country’s fastest-growing cities.

You can rent historic and reproduction buildings in the park for special events such as weddings, reunions, and more. Spaces at the Frisco Heritage Center available to rent include the following:

  • Crozier-Sickles House.
  • Frisco Heritage Museum.
  • Frisco Train Depot.
  • Lebanon Church.
  • Smith-Muse Home.

Parties With Texas Teams

If you have a budding athlete or super-fan in your brood, you’ll create a party to remember when you book a package with one of Frisco’s sports teams. Whether you’re looking for a baseball, basketball, or football experience, you don’t have to leave Frisco for the party of a lifetime. Local possibilities include:

  • Frisco RoughRiders: Get in on the action with a birthday celebration at a Frisco RoughRiders’ game. The Texas Rangers’ Double-A affiliate makes a day at the ballpark into the perfect birthday gathering.
  • Texas Legends: The Texas Legends, the G-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, offer two birthday packages. Choose from the Legendary Birthday Party package and Hall of Fame Birthday Party package, depending on your needs and budget, and celebrate while watching future NBA stars take the court.
  • The Star: The Star, the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and practice facility, delivers a dream birthday party for football fans. In addition to a party room rental, you’ll get time on the field plus a VIP tour.
