If you’re looking for lunch and dinner options with a Mediterranean flair, the House of Hummus Mediterranean Café is the place for you. Loyal Q and Brew is a casual barbeque spot with tender meats and amazing sides. Loyal Q and Brew takes prides in its hand-smoked meats and fresh, quality ingredients. Popular dishes include the pulled pork, the wings, smoked salmon, and much more. They pay homage to their Southern roots with staples like boiled peanuts, mac n cheese, and deviled eggs. Experience an Atlanta Icon at The Varsity

Speaking of Atlanta staples, you can’t mention family-friendly food spots without mentioning The Varsity. This iconic diner has been family-owned and operated since 1928, with the original location being in downtown Atlanta. The original location has been dubbed The World’s Largest Drive-In Restaurant. There have expanded to a couple other locations now as well, including Norcross. 

Its casual, fun environment permeates through the food, atmosphere, and even the employees. The Varsity is known for their hotdogs, chili cheese dogs, onion rings, frosted orange, and other classic fast American food. “What’ll ya have?” is the standard friendly greeting you’ll be welcomed with when you order through the drive-thru or if you go inside. The walls are full of historic and fun decor paying homage to the early 20th century. With its history rooted in family, the Varsity is a great place to bring the family as a standalone outing, or before/after a big event.

Indulge at Antico Pizza Napoletana

Kids never say no to pizza, which is why Antico Pizza Napoletana is a great place for even the pickiest of eaters. What’s better is that not only is the food delicious, Antico offers a number of unique flavor combinations that will satisfy you, the parent, as well. Try something traditional or try an original, award-winning creation like the San Gennaro or the Diavola. You can dine in or carry out at Antico’s multiple locations, including the Alpharetta location. 

Antico was started by Giovanni Di Palma on the Westside of Atlanta, and very quickly expanded to multiple locations. Lines quickly started forming outside Antico as locals, tourists, and celebrities alike yearned for a bit of the now iconic Antico pizza. Antico is even BYOB if you’re looking for a more adult night as well. Antico is now synonymous with delicious, quality food in Atlanta.

If you still haven’t got your fill of pizza, be sure to check out Campania as well. You can get a true Italian experience with a wood-fired stove, hand-stretched pizzas, and real Italian ingredients when you go to this pizzeria. Eat one of the authentic 12-inch pizza combinations with a fork and knife or with your hands.
