Westerville Saturday Farmers Market

You’re in luck if you’re looking for delicious fresh products and other goods, not to mention a fun farmers market experience, without traveling far from home at all. The Westerville Saturday Farmers Market is located right here in our hometown, making it easier than ever to get in on the goodness farmers markets provide. This gem takes place on Saturdays from the end of May through the beginning of October, and it’s open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each time. You’ll find it behind Westerville City Hall, at 21 S. State St. in Westerville.
This weekly event features so many amazing vendors, you’ll want to make this into a family tradition during the season. From high-quality produce to sweet and savory pies, delicious coffee to artisan doughnuts and so much more, there’s truly something for everyone here. Stock up on ingredients like garlic for the next week’s cooking, or bring home flowers for decorations when you’re hosting a gathering. Looking for skin care products or soap? You’ll find those here as well.
All in all, this community gathering lets your family build a direct connection to farms, bakeries, and nurseries in the area, all while getting access to locally grown food and other farm products. Pencil the Saturday morning farmers market into your calendar and you’ll always have a great way to get groceries and while treating your family to a fun weekend outing.
Clintonville Farmers Market
Head over to nearby Columbus for another great farmers market option. That’s where you’ll find the Clintonville Farmers Market. The organizers of this market aim to connect communities in central Ohio with regional farmers and food producers while offering vibrant and inclusive marketplaces. The Clintonville Farmers Market operates as both a winter and summer market, so you can get your go-to goods no matter the time of year.
The 2021 market is located at the Ohio History Center, which you’ll find at 800 E. 17th Ave. in Columbus. (Future seasons may return to the usual location along High Street.) This farmers market also takes place on Saturdays. Stock up on meats, veggies, coffee beans, and so much more while enjoying the community atmosphere.
The winter market takes place from the beginning of January through mid-April from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., then the summer market picks up the next April Saturday and runs through the end of November. The summer market is open on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You can do your shopping on-site, or even preorder to make busy Saturdays a little bit easier.
Market on the Green
Looking to do some weekday shopping? Our area has you covered. Make the quick trip to Whitehall for Market on the Green, a new farmers market brought to the area by Whitehall’s Parks and Recreation. Market on the Green promises to deliver a great experience thanks to its lineup of Ohio makers and growers. It’s open from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings over the summer from the start of June through the end of August.
In addition to standard farmers market fare, you’ll find live music, artisans, and rotating guests (think: the Columbus Zoo) at this urban market. Of course, you’ll get to check out about 15 vendors each week, too. Expect produce and homemade items you’re sure to love.
The farmers markets is located at The Kelley Green, inside the development known as Norton Crossing. Go to 105 Norton Park Drive in Whitehall to get there.
Upper Arlington Farmers Market
That’s not the only weekday farmers market option close to Westerville, though. The Upper Arlington Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays from the middle of May through the end of October, rain or shine. You can check out the vendors between 4 and 7 p.m.
This market is hosted in partnership with the City of Upper Arlington, welcoming more than 25 farmers and food producers from the Ohio area. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, melons, or sweet corn or you want some eggs or pastured meats, you’ll find what you need at this amazing farmers market. Or maybe you want some artisan bread or local honey and jam to go with it? How about fresh pasta or locally roasted coffee? You guessed it — Upper Arlington Farmers Market has it all.
You’ll find the fresh-from-the-farm goodness at the Tremont Pool parking lot, located at 2850 Tremont Road in Upper Arlington. With free parking available on-site, it’s never been easier to explore some amazing shopping when the mood strikes on a Wednesday.
Bexley Farmers Market
Then there’s Bexley Farmers Market, yet another choice for a weekday evening market. This farmers market takes place in beautiful downtown Bexley from the end of May through the end of October on Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m.
You’ll find free parking on neighborhood side streets, so head over to East Main Street and South Dawson Avenue in Bexley to check out the farmers and food producers that will take your family mealtimes to the next level. There’s truly something for everyone here.
Each Thursday evening, you’ll find 25 vendors selling a wide variety of goods. Whether you’re looking for fresh fruits and veggies, eggs and meat, honey, flowers, or anything in between, you’ll love browsing this farmers market.
