Adrenaline Family Adventure Park

More than a trampoline park, Adrenaline Family Adventure Park lives up to its name. Kids can get active and release their excess energy with attractions that include a climbing wall, ropes course, jousting station, a giant inflatable hamster ball, an all-sports course, and more.

Special programs include a Little Adventurers program for toddlers and an evening Adrenaline RUSH Glow Party. This attraction offers facility rentals for birthday parties and special events.

Cheeney Creek Natural Area and Heritage Meadows Park

Escape from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with nature at Cheeney Creek Natural Area. This 25-acre park includes a pond and creek to explore, plus opportunities to witness wildlife and discover some of the tallest trees in Fishers. 

Take your children for a hike along one of two paths that lead to a 3-acre fishing pond. Bring your fishing rods and Indiana fishing licenses and get ready to fish for bass, bluegill, and catfish in the pond. Look for a creek-stomping spot underneath an old tunnel that once supported the Nickel Plate railroad tracks. Here you and your children can try to catch crayfish and minnow, search for mussel shells, and cool off on a summer afternoon.

After your family members have had their fill hiking and fishing, enjoy a picnic lunch at Heritage Meadows Park, a five-minute walk from the main entrance to the Cheeney Creek Natural Area. You’ll find an on-site playground for children 8 and younger and a paved circle surrounding the park for skates and scooters.

Conner Prairie

Education, entertainment, and hands-on discovery await adults and children at Conner Prairie. Families can step back in time, explore a 19th-century prairie village, and interact with the animals, objects, people, and routines of life in Central Indiana during the 1830s. Watch a blacksmith forge iron, find out what learning was like at a one-room schoolhouse, and transform wood into art at McClure carpentry. 

A year-round indoor attraction, Discovery Station lets children create, climb, and explore at stations that include a forest-themed play area and giant puzzle. On the third Sunday of each month, from 10 a.m. to noon, Conner Prairie offers a sensory-friendly experience for children. The staff turns off components and interactives that make loud noises to create an enjoyable experience for visitors.

Families must purchase or reserve advanced online timed tickets and select a date and time of their arrival.

Fishers AgriPark

Take your family to the farm without venturing far from the city. At Fishers AgriPark, children can explore this 33-acre urban farm. Dedicated to inspiring future generations to discover relationships between farming and community, Fishers AgriPark offers kids the opportunity to explore where their food comes from and the delicate balance of nature and the environment.

While visiting Fishers AgriPark, your kids can feed farm animals, create nature-based arts and crafts projects, and explore additional hands-on learning. Younger children will enjoy running, climbing, and jumping on the equipment at the nature-based playground containing tree branches, carved tree trunks, teepee huts, leaping pads, and more to explore. Mud kitchens offer places for the littlest hands to get messy and enjoy some imaginative playtime. An on-site nature trail provides a cool, shaded walk in the woods that parents and children will appreciate on a hot summer’s day.

Hand-washing stations are located throughout the property so that everyone can stay safe and have fun.

Saxony Lake and Beach

Managed by Fishers Parks and Recreation, Saxony Beach is a 20-acre lake and beach area located within the Saxony development neighborhood. Your family can enjoy an ultimate day of fun at the beach with activities such as standing paddle-board rentals, kayak rentals, fishing, and swimming. Bring your beach blanket, umbrellas, beach hats, and sunscreen, and let the kids dig into the sand to make sandcastles. Go fishing at the dock or make a splash in the lake.

Note that pets are not allowed on the beach. A 15-minute adult swim time is held every hour on the hour, and lifeguards are on duty along the waterfront. You’ll find free parking in the lot above the beach and lake area or along the street bordering the beach.

Admission: $5 for non-residents; free for Fishers residents and children 2 and younger.
