Flour Power has various camp types to suit your needs, including summer camp, school break camp, and camps for teacher workdays. Your little chef will gain confidence in their cooking skills and may be eager to cook dinner for you. The class covers preparing snacks and making lunches. Everything they’ll need to participate in the class will be provided. These camps are available for daily or weekly lessons. Camp will also include learning practical life-long skills such as science, math, chemistry, and reading.

Your child will have all the cooking supplies and ingredients for the menu items at camp. Your child will receive a take-home booklet at the end of camp, which includes recipes for snacks and lunches that they learned during their classes. All you have to do is bring your kids to camp; they’ll have everything they need waiting for them.

The Young Chefs Academy

Young Chefs Academy has classes for various age groups and skill levels. Classes are initially recommended by age, but children with cooking skills may advance to classes for older and more advanced students when ready. The three classes offered are KinderCooks, a 60-minute class for ages 4-7; Junior Chefs, a 90-minute class for ages 7 and up; and Senior Chefs, a 90-minute class for ages 12 and above or younger children with advanced cooking experience.

The weekly classes at Young Chefs Academy are designed to introduce children to cooking, then build upon their knowledge to sharpen their skills. This goal is achieved through a structured weekly program. There’s a new unique theme offered every month, making each class a completely new experience. Hands-on classes build step by step upon the foundations of learning so your child can progress in their culinary knowledge and kitchen skills. This results in the ability to prepare more complex recipes and progress in food presentation.

Classes are offered individually or as part of an ongoing Young Chefs Academy membership. Get your kids ready to roll up their sleeves and get into the kitchen at 939 W. Stacy Road, Suite 145, in Allen.

Whether you choose in-person, online, or home-based classes, cooking classes are available for every child’s learning style. Our team at Crème de la Crème of Coppell invites you to start your child early in learning valuable lifelong cooking skills.
