Neighborhood Arts and Music School

The Neighborhood Arts and Music School, or NAMS, in Frisco takes a relaxed and open approach to music. NAMS encourages students to explore all their artistic inclinations and offers musical lessons, bands, provides recording services, cultivates visual creativity through art classes, and teaches about the process of filmmaking through their film classes.

Music clinics follow a non-curriculum based approach, which is individually tailored to each learner. Whether kids want to learn to play the latest Adele song or a Louis Armstrong classic, instruction focuses on the creative side of music rather than the technical side. This approach encourages exploration, individual development, and makes learning an ongoing process and journey. Music lessons are fun and encourage students to take home work and compose their own songs. With in-house producers and engineers, students are mere steps away from permanently capturing their own music and style to enjoy for years.

Art classes encourage students to learn their individual style and given tips to help them succeed. The skills they develop will help them nurture their creativity and encourage them to seek artistic outlets and ways of self-expression.

Neighborhood Arts and Music School is at 8102 Stonebrook Parkway in Ste. 200. Business hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. To learn more, including pricing and class schedules, call 214-436-4000.
