Join the family-oriented community at Brown Music Together. From newborn to 5 years, you and your children will share songs, play instruments, chant, and move in this relaxed and playful setting. Its programs help kids learn music through developmentally appropriate activities that support each child’s unique learning style. They’ll be introduced to a new song collection every semester that features an arrangement of original and traditional songs in various styles, tonalities, and meters.

Sign up for a class if you want to nurture your child’s musical growth, regardless of your abilities. Mixed Ages is the essential mommy-and-me class at Brown. This introductory course follows recommendations from child development researchers by grouping children of all ages. It builds on their natural enthusiasm for music and dance, and this setting fosters a more natural, family-style of learning. Toddlers enjoy watching and imitating older kids, and parents enjoy this chance for everyone to learn together. You can even try a free class to ensure this program is right for you.
