One of our favorite farmers markets in Oklahoma City is the Paseo Farmers Market. This market has grown tremendously since its beginning as a small neighborhood market. There are now over 50 vendors you can now order from online as they re-establish their presence in the outdoor market since 2020. Currently, everything that used to be purchased at Paseo Farmers Market is temporarily being sold at Flora Bodega, so you can still get their various homegrown and homemade products.

They offer home-baked goods such as freshly baked bread,100% free of neuro-toxin local produce, and a wide selection of pastured meats. You can get your starter plants for vegetables and herbs to grow some of your own food at home. If you’re looking for a gift or treat for yourself, there is also a wide selection of jewelry, artwork, soap, pottery, and more. Visit them today at 3020 N. Walker Ave. in Oklahoma City, or feel free to place an order online for convenient pickup.

Benefits of Shopping at Farmers Markets

Farmers markets are full of people just like you, who want better food to fuel their bodies than those traditionally available in a chain grocery store. They take pride in their food and work hard, which allows you to get the most for your money and provide your family with fresh food. You can also find other items, such as soaps, candles, and other gifts or trinkets for your home.

When planning on shopping at a farmers market, it’s essential always to be aware of the seasons. Some different fruits and vegetables grow during the other seasons we get here in Oklahoma City. It is easier to find exactly what you’re looking for if you plan your meals. Don’t forget to bring your bags so you aren’t caught carrying around individual carrots or spices. Switching to shopping at a farmers market can be a significant change from the grocery store, but we can almost guarantee that it will be worth it for you and your family.

We hope that you soon get the chance to visit one of these great local farmers markets. If you have any additional farmers markets you think we need to try out; please send us a message at Creme de al Creme of Oklahoma City. We enjoy learning about new places we can visit to support the residents of our community.
