Smith Center for the Performing Arts

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is a 5-acre venue located in the heart of Symphony Park in downtown Las Vegas. Its size suits its offerings, as it features upscale dance, theater, and music performances that never fail to fill seats. Las Vegas Little Theatre

For over 40 years, Las Vegas Little Theatre (LVLT) has delighted residents and tourists alike with both famous and original plays. LVLT has been committed to community theater since its opening in 1978, and it continues to host open auditions for year-round, volunteer-only performances by local actors with a passion for their art. With both a main stage and a smaller black box theater featuring shows for all ages, there’s always something playing at LVLT.

V Theater & Saxe Theater

The V Theater & Saxe Theater is a performing arts complex located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, making it an easily accessible locale for Las Vegas visitors. Both theaters host adults-only and family-friendly offerings, including musicals, magic, comedy, and burlesque. If you’re bringing the kids, check out fan favorites like “V – The Ultimate Variety Show,” “Vegas! The Show,” or the “Popovich Comedy Pet Theater.” Afternoon and evening shows are available throughout the week.

David Copperfield Theater

The world-famous illusionist’s namesake theater inside the MGM Grand hosts weekend shows packed with action and jaw-dropping tricks. Throughout the show, Copperfield guides spectators along a personal narrative and engages them with humor, storytelling, and — of course — magic. The David Copperfield Theater welcomes guests ages 5 and up to experience the acclaimed show.

Rainbow Company Youth Theatre

The Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is a nationally renowned children’s acting company featuring some of the brightest rising stars in Las Vegas. A City of Las Vegas organization, the company operates approximately 5 miles west of the famed Las Vegas Strip at local arts venue Charleston Heights Art Center. Children ages 10 through 18 audition yearly for coveted spots in the ensemble, which performs reimagined classics like “Alice’s Wonderland” and “Sherlock Holmes and the First Baker Street Irregular.” Rainbow Youth Company Theatre seasons run from September through May. Kids can also take classes to learn about acting, improvisation, and more.

Mystère Theatre

Tucked inside the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino is a treasure all its own. The Mystère Theatre is the permanent home to Cirque du Soleil’s long-running production “Mystère,” a modern circus famous for combining art, acrobatics, drama, and dance. Since 1993, the show has been dazzling Las Vegas audiences of all ages, making it one of the city’s most beloved acts and a popular choice among tourists. For the ultimate experience, enjoy a meet and greet with performers, backstage tour, priority seating, and a photo souvenir before the 7 p.m. show with the VIP experience package.
