Children often find it easy to learn another language as they already use a part of their brain to learn their native language. Acquiring a second or third language helps children’s brains develop while enhancing their multitasking and cognitive skills. To help you find a class best suited for your child’s learning style and preferred language, our team at Crème de la Crème in Buckhead put together this list of six language classes to consider in the Atlanta, Georgia, area.

The Atlanta International Language Institute  offers instruction for over 20 languages, including Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Italian, and American Sign Language. When you take a group class, the professional teachers keep the classroom size small, from three to nine people, so you get the attention needed to learn the language.

For the most efficient way to learn a language, take private lessons, where you can learn at your own pace and with a schedule that works around you or your child’s busy life. You can also take semi-private lessons, which are ideal if you want your family to learn together. The native-speaking teachers can teach private and semi-private lessons at your home or other off-site location. If it’s easier, you can also take private lessons online.

Location: 5825 Glenridge Drive, Building 2, Suite 206, in Atlanta.

You can take Spanish, Italian, or French courses at the Foreign Language Classes Atlanta. The instructors at this institute teach these three languages online through Zoom so that you can learn from home or anywhere you have an internet connection.

They offer these classes in three levels: Beginners 101, Intermediate 102, and Fluency 103. Each of the 12 lessons lasts for one hour, and the course price includes all materials. Learning a language takes energy, and you’ll want to refuel yourself and your child with delicious food when you take them to any of these healthy eateries in the Buckhead area.

Spanish in Atlanta

Many people speak Spanish in the United States, and you and your family can learn this popular language online when you enroll in a class at Spanish in Atlanta. The instructors use a unique teaching methodology to teach Spanish in six-week courses for small groups or private sessions. The small group classes have a maximum of six people, so the teacher can give each student the attention they need to be successful.

They offer small group courses at eight levels. In the Beginner Level I course, you’ll learn the foundations of basic Spanish that will help you when you take any of the higher-level and advanced classes. With private Spanish lessons or tutoring, your instructor will work with you to understand your learning style, goals, weaknesses, and needs to create a personalized lesson plan for you.

After taking an assessment test, you’ll find which course is best suited for you. In addition, the instructors offer thematic group classes that cover themes or skills such as pronunciation, conversation, literature, or culture. You can also enroll in workshops that delve into subjects such as French for business.
