Amenities at this park include a swimming pool with a pavilion, Yogi Bear’s cave where you can pretend to wake him up, a mini golf course, and Yogi Bear train rides. Endangered Wolf Center

You and your family will learn about the lives and habits of a variety of wolves and other canine species when you visit the Endangered Wolf Center in Eureka. Zoologist Marlin Perkins and his wife Carol founded this Center in 1971, and their legacy of environmental research and endangered species protection lives on today. The staff at the center educates the public on the importance of wolves and wild canine species in nature.

When you visit, you’ll see Mexican red wolves, red wolves, maned wolves, and African painted dogs. In addition, you can get up close to fennec foxes, arctic foxes, and swift foxes. You can take various tours at the Endangered Wolf Center, including the popular Endangered Species Tour, a Photography Tour, or a private tour of the center and the animals. The center also offers special events throughout the year, like the Howliday Howls and the Messy Play Day.

West County Lanes
