While it’s closed on Mondays, it’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon until 4 p.m. on Sundays. DuPage Children’s Museum

The DuPage Children’s Museum is located approximately half an hour from Romeoville in Naperville at 301 N. Washington Street. It’s closed on Mondays, but open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $15 per adult and per child, and the museum recommends registering in advance. It also offers membership packages for families who anticipate visiting the museum multiple times per year.

Funtopia

Funtopia is an indoor activity center that allows your kids to be active even on the rainiest days. It includes rock climbing walls, a ropes course, an obstacle course, a giant slide, and more. Funtopia recommends reserving your visit online in advance and requires guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before their start time to allow for time to complete paperwork, harnessing, and a safety briefing.

Funtopia offers different passes depending on what your family wants to do. Passes for children start at $23 and $28 with parent pass add-ons starting at $15 and $20, respectively. Admission to the toddler area is a flat $10 rate.

Ball Factory Fun

Ball Factory Fun is an indoor playground designed to encourage play with the whole family. The indoor play area features offerings like a ball pit, obstacles, mazes, pretend play areas, and an imagination playground. It’s open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it’s open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays. Prices per child start at $20 on weekdays and $25 on weekends, and Ball Factory Fun offers free admission for up to two adults per paid child admission. It also recommends reservations in advance.
