An escape room is an immersive, interactive game where you work together with others to solve multiple puzzles and escape from the room before time runs out. Team up with your whole family or bring friends along to crack codes, find keys, figure out riddles, and piece together the clues. And there are two awesome escape room places in the Alpharetta area.

Odyssey Escape Game has four different rooms you can play: the “Towering Inferno” involves coordinating a safe escape from a collapsing building, while there’s a history-themed Titanic room has your team trying to save people before the ship sinks. “Prison Break” has you and your team escaping from prison to prove your innocence, and the “Jack the Ripper” mystery has you trying to figure out who this historical killer really is.

Visit Urban Escape Games to play spy and solve a crime in space, complete a jewel heist against the world’s best thief, or save a time-traveling scientist from a different time period. There are two Urban Escape Games locations in the area, one in Alpharetta and another in nearby Marietta.

These games allow you and your children to develop skills in problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. Many of these themed games are suited for elementary school-aged children, teens, and adults, while others might have adult themes. However, while most escape room places advertise whether a room is good for children, but be sure to research the room’s theme before booking.
