Your kids can also visit the Makerspace at Sci-Tech Discovery Center. Here, they can learn how to design, build, test, and create in a hands-on experience that includes woodworking, electricity projects, robotics, and building. They also have a STEM exhibit of inspirational women in science, technology, engineering, and math. There are weekday Daily Discoveries sessions twice a day. They hold special events, such as Bubblepalooza, where kids can learn how to 3D-print a bubble wand and make their bubble solution.

Finally, you and the kids can visit TrainTopia in the Museum of the American Railroad, which features working model trains and the opportunity to go on scavenger hunts. When it’s time to dine, head to the kid-friendly restaurant Nerdvana at 5757 Main Street #111 and #112. Nerdvana is a cool concept restaurant that offers more than just a meal. Every diner can choose a gaming console, so your kids will have fun while waiting for their meal. If you and the kids don’t feel like electronic gaming, Nerdvana has a selection of board games too.

They have a kids’ menu, which includes cheese flatbread, grilled chicken and fries, grilled cheese, pasta, and more.
