For a fun time that will fascinate your kids, you can book an animal encounter, which is an up-close time with animals, including lemurs, elephants, tortoises, giant pandas, and warthogs. Children’s Museum of Atlanta
Head to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW in Atlanta for a museum devoted to educating, engaging, and entertaining kids. Your children can explore exhibits such as Gateway to the World, where kids 10 months to 8 years old can visit six continents, climb through the layers of the Earth, and launch a rocket. Your young artist can explore their creativity through a painting wall, a sand table, storytimes, and dance parties on the CMA stage. In the Cause and Effect: Engineering exhibit, they’ll explore architecture, electrical engineering, computer science, and more.
The Children’s Museum of Atlanta offers daily play sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are timed and staggered entry hours for play during these windows.
