We’ve created this list of some of the best pools and splash pads for families around North Las Vegas, Nevada, to help you decide where to make a splash this summer.

Silver Mesa Activity Pool

Silver Mesa Activity Pool is an outdoor public swimming pool. It’s part of the City of North Las Vegas’s aquatic service offerings. It operates seasonally and offers open swim every Wednesday through Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. Hours may vary throughout the season, and it sometimes offers swim lessons for various age groups.

Silver Mesa Activity Pool is next to the Silver Mesa Recreation Center on 4095 Allen Lane. Children under the age of 3 may go to the pool for free, but the admission for children ages 3 through 17 is $2. Adults, including all visitors ages 18 through 54, have an admission fee of $3, but seniors 55 and older have an admission fee of $2.

If your family loves going to the pool, it may be worthwhile to purchase a season pass. Child and senior passes are $50 each, and adult passes are $75 each. There’s also a family pass that covers up to four visitors for $200.

Petitti Pool

Petitti Pool is another public pool in the City of North Las Vegas aquatic services family. Hours may vary throughout the season, but it typically provides public swimming hours from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. each Wednesday through Sunday. It’s an outdoor pool, so weather may also affect operations.

Petitti Pool is located at 2505 N. Bruce St. It admits children under the age of 3 for free, but children ages 3 through 17 have an admission fee of $2. Adults 18 through 54 pay $3 for the pool, but senior visitors who are 55 and older only pay $2.

Frequent visitors may enjoy a season pass. A family pass is $200 and covers up to four family members. Petitti Pool also has individual child and senior visitor passes available for $50 and adult passes available for $75.

Walker Pool

The City of North Las Vegas aquatic services also includes Walker Pool. This outdoor public pool offers public swimming hours each week. While hours may vary seasonally, the pool is typically open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.

Walker Pool is located at 1509 June St. Admission is free for children under the age of 3, but children ages 3 to 17 have an admission fee of $1. Adult visitors who are between the ages of 18 and 54 have a $2 admission fee, and senior visitors age 55 and older have an admission fee of $1.

Purchasing a season pass may be a good option if your family plans to visit the pool often. Walker Pool offers a family pass for $200 that covers up to four people. It also offers adult passes for $75 each and child and senior passes for $50 each.

Clark County Splash Pads

Clark County has a number of parks that include splash pads for families to enjoy. These free parks are typically open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. However, it’s important to confirm the exact hours and address information for each park through the county’s website. Some of the Clark County parks that have splash pads include:

Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility

Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility includes an indoor pool that’s available for family and lap swimming that’s open all year and an outdoor water park that’s open seasonally. The water park includes a play structure, two water slides, and a shallow-water beach entry. It also offers a range of swimming classes for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility is in Clark County at 8275 Spring Mountain Road. Admission for children 2 and younger is free, and daily admission for children ages 3 through 17 is $2. Adults 18 to 54 pay $3 in daily admission, and seniors ages 55 and older have a $1 admission fee.

Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility also offers a variety of 90-day season passes and indoor pool passes, and you can purchase individual family passes. A 90-day pass for the indoor and outdoor facilities is $100 for up to four family members living in the same household, and you can add additional family members for $20 each. Similarly, an annual pass for the indoor pool starts at $300 for a family of four living in the same household, with the option to add additional family members for $40 each.

Paradise Water Park

Paradise Water Park is another of the several pool options in Clark County. This outdoor facility operates seasonally and includes a diving board and a slide. Paradise Water Park is located at 4775 S. McLeod at the intersection of McLeod and Tropicana. Children under the age of 2 are free, but admission for children ages 3 through 17 is $2. Daily admission for adults ages 18 through 54 is $3, and admission for seniors ages 55 and older is only $1.

Paradise Water Park also offers season passes. Individual youth passes are $40, adult passes are $60, and senior passes are $20. Another option is a family pass for $100, which covers up to four members of the same household.
