East Fork Park

The campground at East Fork Park offers visitors RV sites, tent sites, equestrian campsites, and group sites set on the shores of Lake Lavon. You’ll have 50 sites to choose from with water and electrical hookups and 12 tent-only sites as well. If you bring your horse with you, the equestrian sites have portable horse stalls to shelter them.

Many people camp at East Fork Park to enjoy fishing and boating on the 21,400-acre Lake Lavon. You can also go hiking along the Trinity Trail with the trailhead located near the campground. After a fun day of activity, you can enjoy taking a hot shower in the bathhouse and savor a meal you brought from one of Plano’s plant-based restaurants.

Country View RV Park

Whether you want to spend a day, week, month, or year in your RV by the shores of Lake Lavon, consider booking a space at Country View RV Park. Monthly rates include water, trash, and sewer. Daily and weekly rates also include electricity. Be sure to bring your fishing pole with you, as you’ll have access to the private fishing pond where you can catch and release stocked crappie, catfish, and trophy bass.

You’ll feel like you’re part of a friendly community when you camp in your RV at Country View RV Park. The staff here encourages you to join other RV folks to socialize and have cookouts around the barbecue grills at the community clubhouse. Additional amenities include on-site laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, a fenced dog park, and an upscale shower house with hot water.

Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine

If you’re looking for a luxurious camping experience, head to Southlake and book an upscale yurt at Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine. You’ll have plenty of luxury amenities inside your yurt, including air conditioning and heat, a plush queen bed with linens, two cots with sleeping bags and pillows, and a mini-refrigerator with a freezer. It’s easy to relax on the couch reading a book or listening to music.

Outside, you’ll have access to a private bathroom, complete with a shower, towels, and soap. You can have a meal at the outside shaded picnic area or inside at the dining table. The staff at Paradise Cove at Lake Grapevine provides coolers so you can pack a lunch when you go to the lake for a day of fishing, kayaking, swimming, or lounging in the sun. Once the sun goes down, you and the family can sit around the fire pit making s’mores and enjoy gazing at the night sky.

Hidden Cove Park and Marina

Hidden Cove Park and Marina is the perfect place to bring your RV for a weekend or long week of camping. Here, you’ll find 40-foot concrete pads located throughout the 470-acre park to park your RV. Each site has electricity, water, and sewer or only electricity and water. You’ll also have a picnic table, a fire ring, and a barbecue grill. After a busy day fishing, hiking, or boating, enjoy a warm shower in the clean bathhouse.

You can also set up a tent at most of the RV sites or in several designated primitive campsites. If you want something more upscale, reserve a cabin complete with beds, a bathroom, and a full kitchen. If you come to Hidden Cove Park and Marina with a large group, consider renting one of the bunkhouses that can accommodate between 12 and 20 people, depending on the size of the bunkhouse. You’ll have beds, a living area with couches and chairs, a kitchen with appliances and basic supplies, and one to two private bathrooms.

Twin Coves Park and Campground

When you visit Twin Coves Park and Campground, you’ll have furnished cabins, RV sites, and primitive tent camping options to choose from. This Flower Mound campground is located on the shores of Grapevine Lake and has a small-craft launch ramp perfect for boating and fishing. You can rent kayaks, hike the nature trails, play disc golf, volleyball, and horseshoes, or just relax by the fire pit. Youngsters in the family can romp and climb on the playground, and everyone enjoy a meal at the large shaded pavilions.

The spacious cabins sleep between three to six guests and have a full kitchen, including a refrigerator and microwave. If you bring your RV, choose a back-in site with either water and electric or water, electric, and sewer hookups, or go with a pull-through site with full hookups.

The Vineyards Campground & Cabins on Grapevine Lake

The Vineyards Campground & Cabins on Grapevine Lake is another option for furnished cabin and RV site rentals. You’ll find spacious RV pull-through sites with water, electricity, and sewer hookups, cable, Wi-Fi, and access to the bathhouse. This campground offers 14 cozy cabins with a kitchen, living area, private bathroom, and linens. The entire family can enjoy swimming in Grapevine Lake or sitting in the sun on the private sandy beach. You can also go boating, fishing, and hiking on the private hiking trails.
